The Court-martial which is trying the case of the 205 sailors of the warship Emperor Alexander passed sentence to-day. Forty-five were acquitted; several were sentenced to six years’ hard labour; and the majority to imprisonment.

Five unknown men, carrying a bomb, were arrested in the street yesterday. One of them excaped after firing six revolver shots, none of which did any harm.
