1910-12-09 KRUPP’S WORKS AND THE RUSSIAN NAVY

London Times, 9 December 1910, p. 5: KRUPP’S WORKS AND THE RUSSIAN NAVY. (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) BERLIN, DEC. 8.

“Authoritative” telegrams from Essen say that “the report that the firm of Krupp intends to found an armourplate factory in Russia is incorrect.” This denial does not seem to meet the statements of the Novoe Vremya which were reported in your St. Petersburg correspondence yesterday. Krupp’s organ, the Berliner Neueste Nachrichten, is even less communicative, and has contented itself with some irrelevant abuse of The Times.
