1909-11-17 NAVAL AND MILITARY INTELLIGENCE

London Times, 17 November 1909, p. 14: NAVAL AND MILITARY INTELLIGENCE. (Excerpt)

The Russian mine-laying destroyer SABAIKALETZ, which had anchored on Monday in the outer harbour at Libau for shelter from a storm, was torn from her moorings and cast ashore. Two tugs were sent to her assistance, but one of them stranded on a sand-bank. The SABAIKALETZ lies on the northern breakwater on a stony bottom.
